Heads up on e-mail:

Just a heads up in case anybody gets any bounced mail.

The mail system that handles mail for omahug.org, geekbabe.com,
annie.net, and others is one of the systems testing the automated e-mail
blocking methods set up by Spamcop.

It is not probable, but very possible as the system is tweaked, for some
legitimate mail to be blocked as spam, especially mail from some free
e-mail providers that do not enforce anti-spam policies.

If you do get any mail returned to you marked as "Spam blocked", please
forward it to me at one of the addresses below, which should not pass
through the Spamcop filters. I'll check to see if it's a legitimate
block, and let you (and your mail administrators if you wish) know
why it was blocked.

If you need to get something through and get this, please use one of
the following addresses, which are in the same cluster but do not use
the same mail receiver:

annie@gonix.com
annie@chere.com

As a last resort, if these fail (they should not), send to the address:

We don't know if we will continue with this spam filtering yet, but it
seems to be highly effective. So far today (Friday) it has killed over
2000 attempted spams to users here.

Saturday dinner at HM:

I'm extracting this from Monique's catch-all writing, since this is an
issue we need some further discussion and planning on, regarding the
scheduling of a Saturday dinner, and the timing and such.

From the votes that have come in so far (this is being written Friday
evening) it looks like we will be doing the later La Cage show for sure.
. . . . .

>I like Leah's idea about HM being a good meeting spot and those that
>want to grab a bit before going out to LaCage/Metamorphis/second venue
>post LaCage (like me) is great.

>Further comments?

Yes (of course). :)

I see a few possible scenarios ...

1. Go to HM's directly from afternoon activities, eat, then adjourn to
get ready for show.

2. Get ready for show, meet at HM's, eat, drink, be Mary, then go from
HM's to show.

3. Variation on above where HM's is an early-evening rendezvous point
accommodating all options. Some can eat early, some can get ready early
and go from HM's to La Cage.

Since we're doing the late (10:00) show, staying at Hidden Woman until
show time is probably not an option. (I don't think the HW people want
to stay in the shop until almost 9:00pm.) May be better to do a pick-up
run from HW to HM directly for those getting made over and changing
there.

>A great idea Leah. Annie, I'd be more inclined to put it on the
>schedule, that way we have a rendevous point.

I think we have enough of a consensus on this to go ahead and put it on
the schedule with the timing and logistics left to further discussion.

We are gonna have to have our $#!+ together on timing in order for all
of us to be there at the box office and ready to be seated together.

Good eye! :)

LOL. This has to be my error. I'm very surprised I or somebody else didn't
catch it before. The script that generates the activity listing was not
used for DLV 2001, so it was obviously an error nobody caught.

Last year after DLV 2001, Tina (I think) noticed that we had "DLV 2000"
somewhere in the boilerplate on all of the 2001 mailings. :)

We seem to be in agreement that MFB (much easier than typing it out and
being concerned about misspelling) should be on the schedule. We also
seem to be in agreement on a second-track option somewhere in the
Triangle area. I'm gonna adjust the schedule giving MFB and Club Tour
as the two options. We can tweak the timing and logistics on both of
them over the next month or so.

That's pretty much what I've got set up already. First week in April,
everybody will get an e-mail with a clickable link to some checkboxes.
You can try this out right now, if you want at the url:

(Please, only Monique use this one. I also see that somebody testing
last night signed me up for everything. :)

A response on this also automatically sets the reconfirmation in the
database.

The only thing that has been suggested for this timeslot as a second
track activity has been a reception at the Boardwalk.

Any other ideas, ladies?

I think most of us on this list plan to do LaFemme and/or the Limo Tour,
and that's one of the reasons there has not been too much discussion on
this.

1) Late show for LaCage
2) Fantasy Ball...YES (replaces RHPH). Please put 8it on the schedule.
2a) Need to discuss and finalize 2nd venue for those that don't wish to
attend the Fantasy Ball.

I vote for late show and to put Meta.....etc. on the schedule. If for
nothing else than to tip the girls off that they can bring some fetish
attire if they wish since no RHPS.
