Sorry about the frequency of these mailings, but things are happening and
material is coming in.

Activity is brisk as far as mailing list additions and registrations are
concerned. We're up to 30-some registered at this time. Each week it
looks like the mailing list will break 300, but each mailing seems to
get 2-3 mail failures, and a couple unsubscribes.

As I said, let's keep this one on the "B list" in case we have another
closure or something, or, unless we wanna do the farewell celebration
there.

We need some discussion and feedback on this one, gang. Are we deciding
on La Femme, or do we wanna consider Melinda? Personally, I would
probably prefer La Femme, especially for a high-key dress-up evening
in LV.

Am I correct that La Femme is at MGM and Melinda is at Venetian?

Yes, but we need some bottom line numbers before our people are gonna
book there. When can we expect them?

Ok, we have this scheduled for Friday. We can do a headcount a couple
weeks in advance of DLV.

I assume Strings is pasta, right? :)

This could be an option for an informal dinner for one of the nights we
don't have anything scheduled, although we do have two Italian places
already lined up for meals.

This is all set. I'll get a test message out in the next few days.

The only unclaimed prize I still have is a cosmetic bag. I'll also
donate one of the gold/silver strike pendants to the cause. I'll either
bring or ship, depending on how much junk I bring.

>What time is Frank Marino show on Thursday?

7:30pm. We need to (really) be there by 7:00 in order to get the good
seats. We'll be getting VIP seating, but there's a considerable FCFS
factor in there.

Maybe something AFTER La Cage is more realistic. Comments?

I don't really know what Boardwalk is proposing. Mindy?

Taking the trip to the real world, I don't see an open (comp) bar unless
a few whales are with us. :)

>(I'm thinking here of the same type of crowd that goes to Crazy Girls.)

I dunno. I think La Femme has more class than Crazy Girls. The crowd on
line for CG in 2000 was definitely school's out, like the kind that also
goes for Olympic Garden and the like. I get the impression the La Femme
crowd will be more sophisticated and more refined, maybe less horny. :)

>Every year, we individually and collectively have the debate about what

Well, most of us, myself included, like to put on the dog for the big
show on Saturday. That's part of the experience, right? :)

This year, for RHPS, I think I'll wear the outfit I wore to the office
H'ween party last year. (There are pics on the web, if anybody wants
to look for them. :)

>With a 10:30 start time for La Femme and midnight for RHPS, this seems

Too close is an understatement. The 10:30 show ain't gonna work for
those who wanna see RHPS at midnite. Seems like it's gotta be the 8:00
show. Besides we want to (?) have a photo op right after the show, to
get shots of everybody all decked out.

Here's what I'm thinking. Might be better to have the official open
house at HW on Wednesday, since it would be more relaxed and laid
back.

Both HW and GB are gonna get a lot of our people in on Saturday, whether
or not we lead them there. Some people go for things like a Mall Crawl,
others don't care for the shopping things, and others are scared
sh*tless to go out shopping in (pardon the expression) broad daylight.

Maybe even two separate versions of the Mall Crawl might work, one for
Belz and Boulevard and the like, another for GB and HW. Comments?

Hmmmm ... I guess I better re-add Cobalt to the list. I removed it when
I heard it closed.

Let's watch this one ... ... closely. Renovations have not been very
good to us this year. Leah (and others) please keep an eye on this.

Again, let's keep an eye on this. Especially for any ETA.

>I have been trying to think of something special for Sat. night but

We wanna think show for Saturday evening. I know we've been bouncing
around LaFemme, but nothing is in stone. We do have to get going on
this one, as I would hate to see Saturday evening be an "open" period.

I have never been there personally, although I've driven by there
many times. We've been getting good reports since last DLV.

Thanks, and I think something like that might work out fine. People
can meet, talk, have a few drinks, and later enjoy a show.

It sure does, thanks. :)
