E-mail and Web directory:
Thanks to those who have submitted their entries. We'll be sending out
the DLV99 directory within the next few days. If you have not sent in
your entry, please do so now. Just reply to this message with your
preferred e-mail and/or web address.

Virtual Door Prizes:
We're still missing entries from most of you!
The following entries have been received and recorded:
21237
6789
24365
29629
44555
12305
29426
If you haven't sent yours in yet, this is the last call. You are
eligible if you attended, in whole or in part, in real life, any DLV99
activity.
If you have sent one in and don't see yours here, please
resubmit/remind.
To enter, just pick a number between 0 and 65535. Winning number will
be selected by the computer. Closest one gets first choice, etc. In
case of tie, lower number wins.
Prizes include:
1. Cosmetic case
2. Brush kit
3. Goldtone chain and pendant, from $10 gaming token, La Cage (Riviera)
4. same as #3, Four Queens
5. DLV98 t-shirt, slightly imperfect, size M (approx adult L)
In addition, I'm adding one other item to the list:
6. One quart of genuine Boob Goo.
For those who don't know what this is, it is best described as a slimy
elastomer for filling breast forms. It has a consistency very close to
human breast tissue, and will not rapidly leak out of a pinhole as will
H2O or blue ice.

Planning for DLV2000:
Several comments and suggestions have come in regarding what to do for
next year. Most are highly positive and forward-looking. I'm saving
these for the DLV organizational list which will start shortly.
In the next few days, all of you will get a test/introductory message
on the mailing list for those who want to plan the 2000 event. (List
name will be dlvorg.) If you don't want to be on that particular list,
wait until you receive the test message and simply return it with
UNSUBSCRIBE either in the subject line or on the first line of the
message body. (Don't do it now, wait for the dlvorg message. If you
do it now, you will simply be unsubscribed from this list, which is
going away shortly anyway.)
We will use this as our medium of communication for planning next
year's event.
Unless there's any more important followup traffic, the announcement
of the virtual door prize winners will most likely be the last item on
the dlv99 mailing list. Toward the end of 1999, we will launch the
dlv2000 mailing list (which had an accidental test the other day),
which will be the information and feedback list for all those who
are interested in attending DLV2000.
