Snacks

Kittensol's Meow mix

1 block Veleeta Cheese
1 medium roll of Jimmy Deans Sausage Hot
1 medium jar of Pase Picanti Sauce Hot
1 small can Rotel Hot
I also use Black Pepper, White Pepper, and Red Pepper

Cut the Velveeta into small block chunks about an inch will do, put in a
medium-big bowl.
Add the Piccanti Sauce and Rotel.  For the Rotel make sure you add the juice.
I usally let the Picanti Sauce jar sit upside down so to get as much as
possible out while I cook the Sausage.
Put the sausage in a small pot to cook add the Black, White, and Red pepper to
it.
Cook the sausage till there is almost no grease left.
Now put the Cheese in the microwave for 3 minutes
Take it out and stir - Put back in microwave for anouther 3 minutes
Keep stiring it in 3 minute intervals.  If you go longer then 3 minutes it will
burn.
Just before it is almost completely melted which will be almost a half hour
later add the sausage, then put back in the microwave for 3 more minutes.  Keep
taking out and stirring every 3 minutes to completely melted.
Then Put some in a small bowl and eat with nachos.
Watch out most people think it is very hot.

Ok, Sharly, you asked for it ... :)

These are what I would call party recipes. If you've ever been
disappointed when you brought something to a party and had to take
most of it back home, I guarantee this will not happen with these
recipes. :)

Widgets:

I don't know why these are called widgets, but we always called them
that when I was a kid, so ....

  Ingredients:

Buttermilk biscuit dough (house brand is fine)
    Frydaddy
Granulated sugar (not powdered, trust me :)
    Paper bag
    Paper towels

  Procedure:

Let frydaddy get VERY hot. Break biscuits into 2 or 3 pieces each
and roll into ball shapes. Place widgets in frydaddy 4-6 at a time,
fry until very brown, and turn with an implement if they seem to
stick with a light side up. Remove from fryer and place on paper
    towels.

Put a tablespoon or so of granulated sugar into a clean paper bag.
Place hot widgets in the bag and shake like a mother. Pour widgets
out on a plate and serve.

Hint: It's a great conversation starter to simply bring the
frydaddy to the party and prepare them in real-time. You will find
people will be skeptical, but when they taste them they will not
    stop at one.

Catbox Fudge:

(Apologies to Little Gator, but these taste and look better, IMAO. :)

These look GROSS, but they are so yummy that nobody will care. It's
great for a potluck, or especially a Halloween party. It's also another
great conversation starter.

  Ingredients:

    1-2 lbs fresh fudge
    Small box Rice Krispies <tm>
Rectangular baking dish or CLEAN catbox
    Old newspaper
    Powdered sugar (optional)

  Procedure:

Go to candy store or bakery and buy 1-2 pounds fudge. With the
fudge at room temperature, break it up and roll it into small
tubular shapes. You can optionally dust these with a very light
coating of powdered sugar for effect. :)

Line baking dish or box with clean newspaper. Fill about 1/2
full with Rice Krispies. Place tur^H^H^Hfudge pieces in box and
    shake. Serve proudly!

This is an adaptation of what is known in Urban Folklore circles as
Little Gator's Deep-Sh*t Cookies, a recipe similar in appearance, but
not in taste, er ... flavor. :) :)

That's about it, gang.
