BOOBGOO
&
Breast Form Construction
a DIY project that passes the Cop-A-Feel test
An arts and crafts project
Step
1 is making a positive form of a boob, this can be done by a number of
means. Pretty much it is a positive/negative/positive process
I used modeling clay,
available at arts & crafts stores, to make the
positive. Making the negative can be done in numerous ways
from coating the clay form with liquid latex, again available at art
supply stores, paper mache, or using more plaster of paris or even
covering the clay positive with plastic wrap and using more clay around
that.
Once the negative mold
is made use it to make plaster positives. Once dry, a fine
grit sanding sponge under warm running water was used to soften rough
edges and smooth it all out.
Pat it dry with paper towels and
let air dry some more. Personally, I used the negative form
to make two plaster positives. It saved time in making a
*matched set*. *(note) Using the boobgoo (tm annie) these
forms will only last about 6 months or so, but since they are easy to
make just keep a few extra sets of casings on hand.
Once
the forms are made, coat them about 4 times with liquid latex,
available at arts & craft stores, then add a layer of pantyhose and
more latex, until you get to about 6 or 8 layers.
Bear in mind you will need an opening to squirt the boobgoo into the casing Making the BoobGoo
Materials needed:
Borax (yes the 20 mule team Boraxo laundry powder is fine)
Water, from the faucet or distilled- this isn't rocket science
White Glue ( Elmer's is ok and even the Elmer's yellow Wood Glue will work)
MixologyMake a saturated solution of the Borax and warm water. It's fine if some settles to the bottom
1/8 cup to 500 ml water
In a seperate container, a plastic baggie, mix glue and water- 2 parts glue to 3 parts water
Add a tablespoon of the borax solution to the baggie
Squeeze and mix real good
Or if you used a bowl mix like crazy
The
final product should look like snot, sorry about that, and pour pretty
easy. If it is too wet let it evaporate a bit of the water, if
it's too *dry* toss it and start over.
AssemblyFill
the casings with the Goo and seal shut with rubber cement. A
funnel or caulking gun type of cookie press/cake decorator with the
large straight tip works well for this. Make sure you clean the
edges to be sealed before cementing. A few more coats of latex
can be added to reinforce the cemented edges.
Since the latex tends to *draw* against bare skin, a piece of cloth cut to size can be used between the skin and form.
Alternative Methods- Bird seed in a knee-high
- Water balloons or water in condoms
- Blue goo from reusable ice in condoms or balloons
