Drag Queen

Drag Queen. Someone (almost always a male) who very flamboyantly wears womens attire, usually without regard to passing. Often implies homosexuality. The term "queen" has been used since the 1920's to denote a gay man. "Drag Queen" evolved from this to mean a gay man who wears womens clothing. The meaning of this term has broadened somewhat over the past few decades.
