Gender Dysphoria is discomfort with one's gender, or gender role.
This is a term which had previously fallen out of favor, with Gender Identity Disorder being preferred from the 1990s through the early 2000s. The term was re-introduced in the DSM V as the preferred clinical term for this condition.
