The GenderWiki Project is an effort to create a centralized collection of material having to do with the field of gender and gender identity. It is a collaborative user-created and user-supported effort. It is not intended to replace the larger on-line reference collections such as Wikipedia, but to provide a convenient well-focused reference point for those seeking information on the topic.
