Pre DLV

I would like to see the Pre DLV to be held at the Bistro at the Arts
Factory, I believe it has the atmosphere that we are all looking for.

I support this too. It's unquestionably mainstream but should be comfortable for those who are new to public exposure.

In the past, we've had no real official start time, but DLVers usually start arriving between 5:00pm and 6:00pm. Since some people tend to be shy about arriving early, we usually have a few people who state that they promise to be there at a certain time, so there will be no concern about an awkward "nobody else there" situation.

Entrees at about $28. Does this seem correct ?

I'd say the sponsor needs to be there at 5pm to greet. Then we could
say that 5:30pm could be "a safe official start time".

Marisa, correct me if I'm wrong but I had the impression that this was more of a tapas (small plate) place.

I'll commit to being there around 5. It looks like I have a late lunch appointment, so I'll most likely just be imbibing and socializing. I'll probably do a power nap just before, but I'll be there on time.

My only problem with this venue is the safety issue. As I've mentioned before, I never feel safe on Main Street, in either mode, especially after dark. This Saturday (the 22nd), I may drive by there to see how it looks around 7:30 PM when darkness sets in. If it looks okay, I may join you for a couple of hours, assuming a 5:30 start time.
