Possible date for rescheduling

Postby Cami desiree » Fri Mar 20, 2020 9:30 am

Hello all. I know we are all disappointed about the cancellation. In looking at a possible date to reschedule without conflicting with others I was wanting to get feedback on potentially having it over Halloween weekend perhaps Thursday through Monday. Any thoughts?

Possible date for rescheduling

My only concern would be the high rates for Friday and Saturday nights.
That could be cause for many not attending. Jenny

Possible date for rescheduling

That works good for me. With my Caesars Reward card, I usually can
get 3 comp nights per month, if my stay spans the end of one month and
the beginning of another month, I usually stay for free my whole stay, 6
nights.

I stay at Bally's they have the best rates and the best comp deals.

I also have the United Mileage Card, and have enough miles to fly for
free, making Diva Las Vegas very inexpensive.

Halloween is the night for crossdressers. I'm in favor of any block of
time with reasonable hotel rates.

"Reasonable hotel rates," is the key here. Friday to Sunday hotel rates in Vegas are double to quadruple what the weekday rate is. Halloween is a "freebie" dressing day in your local area and generally we don't need to make it a special event by traveling to dress. If you know what I mean. :)

I like the idea of Halloween. I was there last year and had fun. The bigger the party the better. As for expensive hotels? The Casinos may be a little restrained to bring people back. Also, There are alternatives like the Tuscany which handles groups like ours well.

The weather will always be a crapshoot.

Historically, using the climate data, the average high for October 31 has been 74f and the average low for that date has been 53f. This is very close to what's typically seen on the first week of April.

Annie, what are the dates of Pinkfest2020? Given the choice of Chicago in October or Las Vegas, I pick Las Vegas because it's warming and has gambling.
