You don't have to.

See the mailing list for details.

For most questions about DLV, they are already answered in the
Frequently Asked Questions list at:

http://www.geekbabe.com/dlv/faq/

>One quick question: How much is this?

There's really no black and white answer to this, as it depends
on so many things, such as where you stay, where you're coming
from and how you get to DLV, and what activities you want to
do.

The one thing to keep in mind is that DLV is totally different
from other TG events. It's based on a totally different model
and there's no set "fee schedule" and in particular, there's
no registration fee.

>And do you take Paypal?

Again, there's no hard and fast yes or no to this. Occasionally
we've had some optional activities which have required some
kind of prepayment, and if we have any of these this coming
year, they may or may not accept Paypal. It really depends
on circumstances.

The important thing I'm going to suggest is to please take a
good look at this site and get an idea of exactly what DLV
is and what DLV is not. Lots of people assume or expect that
DLV will be similar to the other events. It's not.
