DIVA 2008

Hi

I vote for the dates selected. Or if possible like this year have
something on Sunday. The week prior to DIVA I will be attending the NAB
convention in Vegas...it ends on Thursday. Between the two I visit
sights in the area. Last year we went to Scotty's Castle. Next year we
may search out Ghost towns.

I was only able to attend Sunday and Monday. I will try and plan to stay
longer. My friend said she had great fun on the trip to Parumph. And I
missed it.,Boo Hoo!

I'm sure there will be some kind of an informal Pre-DLV thing on
Sunday, plus there's usually a group that gets together for services
at MCC, whether or not DLV actually includes a Sunday.

I do believe, however, that we need at least one more year of a
full, solid, and strong six-day schedule of activities, including
a very strong ending, before we can consider going (back) to a 7
day schedule.

I'm trying to think of more ideas for side trips. The problem is
that we've done about everything within a reasonable drive from LV.
I've thought of leading a tour group to Scotty's Castle, but it's
really quite a drive, and as I think back the drives to and from
Rhyolite and Death Valley were pushing it.
