Suggested dates for 2008

I would suggest the dates for next year to be one week later than this
year. That way it does not interfere with Laughlins, River Run which
some like to attend. It also gives some of us an excuse to be away
from home. One week later will also have a better chance of stable
weather.

DLV 2007 dates were April 23rd through April 28th.

If we were to take your suggestion and move DLV 2008 a
week later, that now conflicts with the N+I
Convention, which drives up hotel rates.

The DLV 2008 dates of April 21 through April 26th is
sandwiched between two major conventions, with room
rates for our timeframe still being low. The week
ahead and behind our dates are showing higher hotel
room rates, even at this time.

I think it best to stay with the april 21-26 time from for the many
aforementioned reasons. Besides, I have that week off. Sincerely, Joan in
