Hair Salons

Can any of the local gals recommend a (hopefully inexpensive) hair salon
where I can have my hair shampooed and set (curlers or curling iron)
during DLV.

I used to go to LaRue's but they have apparently gone out of business.

I've used the salon in the Sahara once, but they were way too expensive.

Any leads would be appreciated.

I started going to A Harmony Nail Spa. I would call them at
1-877-792-6245. Their website is www.aharmonynailspa.com. I've had my
nails and waxing done. I'm sure you will be more than satisfied.

Unfortunately, they only do hair in the morning, with the last appointment
at 11:00am.

I'm barely out of bed at 11.

I second the vote for A Harmony Salon. I have had my hair set there and
it was a great set. I know 2 other gals have gone there too with good
results.

Hi LeeAnna,

Do you know if they also cut and/or style synthetic and human hair wigs?

I would love to try someone that can cut and style a wig to fit me
better than one just out of the box. Synthetic hair is harder to cut and
style, so many salons don't do this.

Annie, would you know if SSS also does this?

SSS has withdrawn from DLV 2007. There will be an official announcement,
probably not in this next mailing, but the one after that.

The one I would recommend is Susan over at Vegas Girl Wigs. The number
is on the Big List. Give her a call Friday-Saturday-Sunday. Please
say that Annie from DLV sent you and says "hi". :)

As far as I know their hair services are now available most of the day,

I would call them and ask if they do. I would think that Show Girl Wigs
would do a much better job since that is all they do.

Diane,

Just give them a call S.L. and ask. Information should have their
number.

I am surprised that A Harmony would be closed at DLV week since we are a
big money maker for them. Just in nails alone they get many of us.

I called this salon for a cut and Curl for Tuesday; They said that they
were closed on Tuesdays. Is there a recommended Salon that is open on
Tuesdays / Does StudioLites delve into this area ?
