DFW - Las Vegas Still Relatively Cheap on American

Still showing $198 round trip, which is the basic rate they've been
showing all along. Arrival on Sunday 4/22 is still available (late
night arrival around 10 PM) and on Monday 4/23, but Sunday 4/29 return
departures are sold out. Monday 4/30 is widely available at all times
of day.

Wish I could be there this year, but not likely.

Hugs,

Tina Tawdre

The one thing that I really find interesting is that over the soon to be
11 year history of DLV, air fares to Las Vegas have remained
consistently low.

One thing I did notice this year, from this market, anyway, is that all
of the bottom dollar fares have a return very early in the morning on
Sunday :( Allegiant is the cheapest ($99 each way) but their only flight
out here is 7:00 in the morning Sunday. :(

Frontier and Southwest are not too much higher, but those prices are for
early morning departures on the way back. I ended up paying about $50
more for a decent-hour return flight.

Untied was cheapest last year, even beating Southwest, but this year
they are astronomical!

Aw, c'mon! Sometimes you just gotta say "What the {heck}". :) You would
love NSD! :)

Depends where you're flying out of. From the East Coast, the fares are
always pretty expensive.

Fares are based purely on supply and demand. Round trips are through the
roof is you want to pick your flight times. I found this year that
it's a lot cheaper to book separate one-way flights on different
airlines. The flight times are a bit inconvenient, but I got a $99
Southwest non-stop Providence to Las Vegas (down side: 6 AM departure)
and a $79 Delta flight back LAS to PVD (down side Saturday at midnight
departure).
