Hi Nora,

I like the idea of Retro night at Elvis. But which retro period? Elvis
was popular from the mid 50s to his death in the 70s. Were you planning
on a certian decade or part of his life?

The range is quite large: from poodle skirts and cat-eye glasses of the
50s to psychodelic double knit/mini skirts/hippie peasant
outfits/sandals/platform shoes of the 70s? Included was the popular Mrs
Jacqueline Kennedy look, military outfits when Elvis was in the
military, grass hula outfits/ Muumuus/cheoung sams/ kiminos/bikini
outfits (pacific-rim films - Blue Hawaii or Girls, Girls, Girls) or
black leather biker/denim outfits (Jail house Rock) or others for the
many different films he made?... The list can go on and on

Just curious.... and if we do, we gotta plan to bring this stuff to LV.

Elvis' popularity was from the 50s to the 70s but I'm assuming that any
non-slutty period outfit or formal or retro-formal dress will be fine.

We could always visit The Attic. Remember, they don't take American
Express. :)

The retro suggestion was made because there were requests to have an
event where we could dress in some other mode. It was only a suggestion.

The restaurant is decorated with Elvis memorabilia which represents
Elvis throughout his career. Dressing retro is not required but if you
like it should certainly be fun. Any period one chooses is fine. If you
choose to dress from casual to semi formal that's fine also.

Don't forget your black and white oxfords and white socks, and the
silk scarf around the neck or pony tail.

If anyone comes in contact with a store that sells womens dark blue and
white oxfords, and if by chance it also comes with a 2-3in heel (flat is
ok also) in size 9.5 ppleeeassee let me know. I've been searching all
over for something like that... got this outfit that would match it...
