English High Tea dated for Wednesday afternoon

I'm sorry to hear that the English High Tea will be held in the middle
of the week instead of a Thursday or a Friday afternoon. I don't
remember attending and English Tea on a Wednesday afternoon since
attending DLV. I usually arrive Wednesday late at night. I was looking
forward to going on those days. Que sera sera.

Sorry if some parts of the schedule don't work for you. :(

The timeslot selections for the activities are mainly set by the
volunteer who organizes that activity. There's really nothing in stone
as to which activity gets what timeslot.

Yes, the Tuesday-Thursday evening anchor activities have been very
consistent since 2004, but there's really no mandate to make it so.
It just kind of happened that way.

Looking back at last year, High Tea was Wednesday. There are a number of
timeslot shifts this year. Golf is Wednesday this year, Glamour Boutique
Open House is Friday, Bowling is Thursday.

One thing to please keep in mind is that the schedule is far from firm
at this time. New things will be added, some may be removed, and some
may get shifted to a different timeslot as the schedule matures.

Hi Gals ,

I know it has been quite some time since I have spoken up, but as a
former attendee of DLV, I would like to share a couple of things.

To our newcomers, or to those of you that are considering coming to Diva
for the first time... You are not alone. Many of us also started our
first time out at Diva. I can personally attest that you will not find a
better group of people that are caring and understanding than the gang
you will encounter at DLV. Just remember, we all started out the same
way, and with less resources available to us that ya'll do.

I have made many friends through Diva...In fact, I found what is
now my Best Friend at Diva 2001. I'm forever grateful to Diva and
Annie-n-company for making that possible. For ya' see, you just don't
know who will become your new Best Friend.

Now, as a side note, as I was reconstructing the DLV'03 page on my
website, I think we are in error as to the definition of High Tea. FYI,

While I do not attend Diva any longer due to other commitments with our
community, I want to share with ya'll that DLV is one of the best
non-conference TG venues around.

And remember, DLV is YOUR Vacation and not your ordinary 'Cup-O-Tea'.
