May I add also that some of the information can now be obtained in a
limited form in Spanish.

Yes, it still astonishes me that after 10 years, a few come to DLV
expecting it to be the typical mainline TG convention with a vendor
hall, pageant, talent show, and (no, Densie, I did not forget) the
Rubber Chicken Banquet. :)

The web site, the mailings, the photos from past years, should all make
it very clear that DLV does not have these things.

What is unfortunate, however, is that they also miss out on many of the
important things we do have. Each year our survey consistently shows
that several attendees didn't know about Big Sisters, the Roommate
Clearing House, contact phone numbers, the DLV Discussion Forum, maps
and directions to activities, etc.

Please, gang, if you haven't done so, read the web site and read the
mailings. DLV has a lot for you, but you'll need to be informed of just
what it is that DLV has to offer. :)
