Laura,

Of course it is! In fact, I have never done it anyother way! Include
flying to Las Vegas and renting the car in that too!

I couldn't register anyother way, as I have never brought a stitch of
boy clothes to Diva! Didn't have enough room in the suitcases! <g>

Enjoy!

Hugs,
Tootsye

I've checked in in several Hotels in Gina, no problem, just be aware
that they will ask for your ID, if you can handle it so can they, (it
is Las Vegas afterall).

I would say that it depends on a number of things, mainly how great of
a need it is to you to do so.

>Your 3 recommended hotels probably, others not sure.

The St Tropez is smaller and the staff is aware of the nature of our
group.

The Sahara and IP are much larger (thousands of rooms) and the desk
people probably are unaware of who we are.

Both the Sahara and IP will ask for legal ID if you check in at the
desk, as will all casino hotels in Las Vegas.

A work-around at the Sahara might be to use one of the self-service
check-in machines. No ID, and they find your reservation by your credit
card number. I've used these several times, and they are great for
beating the check-in line, but they seem to have only about a 60%
success rate of actually finding your reservation and successfully
checking you in with working keys on the first attempt.

You won't have any problem unless you act like a bitch and/or an A$$hole.

Be ladylike and polite and you won't have a care in the world. If you
are acting like you have something to prove to the world, the world will
work to put you in your supposed place.

Love ya,

Gina

If you feel comfortable in femme and it is your second nature, then go
for it. If you are not sure and may be off balance checking in, then
maybe think a bit more about it. As the other gals have said here, be a
lady.

It still amazes me how some gals still do not get that DLV is not a
CONTROLLED CONVENTION and is a Vacation.... meaning their hand can not
be held all the time, if ever. That is what the big sister program is
for.

Smooches to all, LeeAnna

Although I can't speak for these specific hotels, I've never had
difficulties with check-in while traveling to major cities.

However, my flying experience is different - I've been pulled out of
line once to often; I no longer fly girl-mode. Driving probably depends
where you're passing through - mostly, it's been alright for me.

Not really. There is the Big Sister Hotline, but all the volunteer on
the other end of that will be able to do is offer moral support.

There are actually no official arrangements made between DLV and the
Sahara and the Imperial Palace. Why? Really no reason to do so.

History has shown that if you dress and behave as a lady or gentleman,
you will be treated as such.

However, there's no guarantee that you won't get that one desk clerk who
has an attitude.

My suggestion is that if you feel the need to be in girlmode when you
check in, and you are comfortable doing it, go4it. You accept the risks
as well as the rewards.

If you don't feel comfortable doing it, then you probably should not.

Laura,

You should have no problems. I've checked into several timeshares in
girl mode. Funny things do happen though.

Last year, checking into the Grandview timeshare, they send you to the
concierge to get a parking pass... actually a trick to sell some
entertainment packages or get you to go to a timeshare sales presso....
anyway the guy looked at the reservation and asked where "John" was. I
said he was "outside' but he persisted and I said he is around but not
here. He suddenly looked at me and realised who / what I was and without
a further word and with significantly increase speed, promptly gave me
my parking pass. The look on his face was priceless!

While I have credit cards in Michelle's names I've always ended up using
my male credit cards for hotel check-ins. As Gina (?) said they will ask
for ID so I guess the thing is not try and fake something that can soon
be caught out!

Hugs

Michelle
