It's a low-cost second-track alternative to the big show and/or limo
tour.

The term apparently came from SCA where they would throw a local party
to take pity on those who could not go to some remote gathering.

This thread brings up one very important point, and that is on many of
the evenings (and in many of the days as well) there will be a choice
as to the activities to do.

Everybody can pick and choose according to their interest and their
pocketbook, as one option will always be very reasonable in cost.

Diva Las Vegas Pity Party

The annual pity party will be Thursday night the 26th. Time and
location to be determined soon.

I am looking for people who would like to be a part of the Drag show we
do each year. For local gals I would like to have a few rehearsals and
maybe put together a couple of easy production numbers. I have a lot of
music and would be willing to work with any girls who would like to
perform but have never done so before. It would be a lot of fun and I
may even have a club where we could do a regular show a couple of nights
a month.

I have some special music for girls who would like to do Cher (all
looks) in a production number. Also would like to do a 50_s production
number. Also have some ideas for Mama Cass, some country songs and some
torch light songs. We also need one or two people to work back stage.

For you out of town girls please let me know if your interested and let
me know what numbers you would like to do. If you are interested in
being in one of the production numbers I can send you some music and the
basic ideas and work you in at a run through early in the week.

This year we will be sure to avoid the problems of the changes in food
ect. That happened last year when the club we had it at changed owners
at the last minute.

I can't speak for Mindy, but the Limo Tour starts at 9:00pm about a
mile away from where the Pity Party will be. My guess is that the Pity
Party will be going strong about then.

In all practicality, you will not be able to do both of them.

We had a communication problem with the golf course. they used
information they had on file and had the golf scheduled for thursday. I
spoke to don today and we will play WED the 25th. They did however have
to change the t-time to 8 am.

re the pity party. some have stopped in after the limo tour and caught
the last part of the party. we start the party at 8 pm with no scheduled
ending time.
