Diva Las Vegas 2025 is just three months away!

If you would like to attend and have not yet registered, you can

Our primary hotel for DLV 2025 is the Tuscany, located just east of the
intersection of Flamingo Road and the Las Vegas Strip.

Between now and show time, we will be including a summary of the working
schedule of activities in most general mailings. This appears below.

This is NOT COMPLETE as of this time, as there are a number of items
which are being planned but have not been assigned timeslots yet. Do
expect additions and changes to occur between now and October.

Hotel reservation issue:

We've had a number of report along the line of "The hotel link does not
work" and these were handled on a case by case basis, all successfully.

What appears to be the case is that the URL is indeed quite long, and
some attendees' mail viewers have been truncating the URL or else
breaking it up across multiple lines.

It appears to be more likely to happen on a mobile device than a
desktop device.

In one recent case, simply switching to a desktop solved the issue.

If you continue to have issues, please be sure that the COMPLETE URL is
correctly showing in your browser's location bar with no spaces or line
breaks.

Golf:

We've received several queries about a golf match during DLV 2025.

Golf has not been scheduled so far this year. The primary reason is
that the lady who has been doing this will not be able to be with us
this year.

If you would be interested in sponsoring a (regular outdoor) golf
session for DLV, please write in (just reply to this mailing) and we can
discuss what is needed and what you need to do.

Coordinating golf would qualify you for voting status in the DLV
Volunteer Group.

Things to come:

The next big thing to happen will be Activity Sign-up, which is slated
to begin about the first of September.

Most of our activities are "No sign-up, just show up" in nature, meaning
that all you have to do to participate is to be a registered DLV
attendee and be at the activity location at the date and time.

Some of them, however, will need a headcount, a reservation, or some
kind of additional action such as a ticket purchase. We take care of
this at Activity Sign-Up time.

Further details on Activity Sign-Up will be posted as the date
approaches.
