This is the second of two reports. Very little editing has been done. Items
have been moved to the correct categories in some cases.

Follow-up comments are welcome.
. . . . . . . . . .

1. Restroom comments:

Only on one occasions some women were talking to themselves saying - I
believe that's a man??? But didn't confront me.
. . . . .

Just a little nervous going in a crowdded one a few times
. . . . . . . . . . .

2. Activity suggestions:

Salsa dance lesson
. . . . .

Some type of diplomatic presentation on selecting best feminine
wardrobe, makeup and mannerisms. Style and Grace!
. . . . .

1. Would like to do the Soiled Doves again
2. would like to do more clubbing/partying
3. would like to see a headliner or magician show
. . . . .

A common evening meeting meeting place would be great. Actually had the
best conversations with the Flamingo Garden Bar group in the evenings.
Wished it was a regular 8 P.M. event hosted by one of the regulars. It
was great to just be dressed and go down and have a drink with new
friends.
. . . . .

1. I would like to see more fitness/outdoor activities: yoga, pilates,
dance, walks

2. More off strip activities. There are interesting museums and sites
around LV off the strip that are fun and interesting.

3. A pool party would be fun if the right location could be found.

4. It might be nice if we did some kind of volunteer activity -- show we
can give back...
. . . . .

Terry Fator
. . . . . . . . . .

3. New venue suggestions:

A group of 9 of us had dinner in China Town the last 2 years
. . . . .

Phoenix, Pirhana, Freezone, Spotlight, Badlands, Las Vegas Lounge.
Dancing and conversation
. . . . .

Red Rock Casino, very nice atmosphere, some great eating establishments,
reasonably priced buffets, rooms pricey, but very nice
. . . . .

1. I went to the Chippendales show at the Rio that was really fun!
. . . . .

Valley of Fire State Park
. . . . .

Mon Ami at Paris.
. . . . . . . . . .

4: General comments:

The last dinner one check per table sucked would like to keep thing
separated
. . . . .

Farewell dinner, find a venue that will provide individual checks. One
check per table with bar charge is unacceptable.
. . . . .

Parking fees are out of hand.
. . . . .

Masks should not be allowed or worn in public venues.
. . . . .

First time for me all around, probably could have used a Big Sister.

The Big Lift bar crawl was excellently executed. Kudos to Robin.

Another similar style event would be great, but I haven't given it much
thought.
. . . . .

Have every attendee pay for themselves i.e. the farewell dinner at off
the strip. Some people snuck out before the checks came and others had
to pay way more than they should. Checks can and should go to each
individual, by name, then we will know who is skipping out and who to
send the authorities to find.
. . . . .

OTS had bill-splitting issues.
. . . . .

I need to process the experience some more before I can truthfully
answer the question about attending again. As a Canadian the exchange
rate adds a lot to the expense and Vegas is already expensive.
. . . . .

Thanks great week.
. . . . .

The check collection at Not on the Strip and having to figure out meal
totals. I got to pay the bill. The food sucked. Stroganoff dry,
lacking taste. Showed up at check in ten minutes late. Didn't see
anyone.
. . . . .

This was my first DLV event and travelled 7 hours from Canada and I have
to say it was the most amazing experience for me. I met soooo many
other amazing girls and Vegas was very accepting. Just need to find a
pair of heels that are meant for dancing without keeling the balls of my
feet. Will definitely return next year!!
. . . . .

Maybe sessions or a group meet up for closeted dressers unsure/unable to
dress publicly.
. . . . .

Thank you for making this possible!
. . . . .

No more one check per table, or at the very least make this knows at
signup so we can choose something else. Several people had to run to
ATM to get money, 1 person wasn’t able as they didn’t have an ATM card
and several people got stuck paying extra as the bill was not clear on
the bar tab. The experience at the farewell at off the strip was
horrible and I heard lots of complaints from others
. . . . .

Any uncomfortableness is due to the facts if a person wishes to blend
they need to put in a lot of effort into it. It takes a lot more makeup
to make a guy look like a girl not just a guy with makeup.

So I would suggest more help with makeup, wardrobe style and grace.
. . . . .

1. First and most importantly -- I had a wonderful time at DLV this
year. I am very grateful to the wonderful volunteers who make it
happen.

2. I think the DLV website and activity registration is great! Amazing
really.

3. I was very disappointed by the low turnout at some events. Power
Walk with Cathy: I was alone; Neon Tour: I was alone (Joann and I just
missed each other); Tea at the 4 Seasons was just 3 of us. What gives?
I seems so strange to me that more people wouldn't want to participate
in daytime activities -- and to show up after signing up.

4. I thought it was really great that a few very nice young couples
attended this year. I hope DLV organizers will seek out their input
because I think the event would benefit with increased participation of
younger people and couples.

5. I think it is a mistake to run events where people meet first in
Flamingo Lobby then travel to a destination. I think that makes
logistics too complicated -- especially if one is staying off the strip.
Activities should start at an event's location.

6. The choice of venue for the Lunch, Cocktails and Hair was poor.
Additionally it was unclear about how lunch was or wasn't part of the
event. I left. I might have enjoyed this more if the location were
better and it hadn't started so late.

7. Some scheduling was a little unrealistic. Timing of Center Cut
dinner and show didn't work (it wasn't the restaurant's fault). Timing
was just too tight.

8. I don't really like the food court at Harrah's so I only went to
lunch one time.

9. Again, let me say that DLV is a wonderful event and I hate to sound
critical. I am very grateful for the opportunity and I hope to return
in the future.
. . . . .

Had a little trouble finding a couple of the events because I was
unfamiliar with Las Vegas
. . . . .

Extremely well organized and run. Very impressed.

Need an option on hotel for I knew about it but had better rates
elsewhere.

Need more opportunities for new girls to mix in. Many were far too
clickish and standoffish.
. . . . .

Don't start any activities before 11 AM
. . . . .

I understand there was a negotiated rate at the FLAMINGO , but I found
paying for parking as a registered guest excessive.

Then again renting a car was a miscalculation on my part.

Ride sharing is best. It would have been helpful to have this on the
MyDlv.

. . . . .

Try not to schedule any early Thursday activities due to Wednesday
night's bar crawl possibly causing low attendance at them. There were
only 5 of us for the KISS mineature golf!
. . . . .

When you have a meet and greet. Meet and great. At Bahama Breeze I was
ignored as if I didn't exist at all. At Off the strip only one couple
stepped forward to make me feel welcome. This is not what I planned
for. I am autistic and have difficulties in social situations. I know
this and am working on it.
. . . . .

The Carnival Courtyard was awesome!! The Bar Crawl was a hoot.
. . . . .

No more one check per table, or at the very least make this knows at
signup so we can choose something else. Several people had to run to
ATM to get money, 1 person wasn’t able as they didn’t have an ATM card
and several people got stuck paying extra as the bill was not clear on
the bar tab. taking about farewell at off the strip
. . . . .

Payment at the farewell dinner has to change. It is very confusing to
get a bill for the table with some lump sum for bar tending fee that
wasn't itemized. Basically people didn't understand and we were under
the total amount. Another member and I had to put in an extra $40 to
pay the bill. This is a terrible way to pay a bill. Personally I
probably wouldn't attend this event if it is this way in the future.
. . . . .

Try to break up the clicks, or have more things for new people to do and
make friends
. . . . .

Absinthe, the show is awesome. Although lots of public exposure is
expected.

Annie--
The survey comments, I believe, were honest, fair, and gave us a
"rounding-out"of the Survey's Part I.

Also "the *masses"* have spoken about the _On the Strip Farewell dinner._
This check handling system failure ( I count for the 3rd time) needs to
be changed to -----
"....pay a you drink, and individual dinner checks...." *_No exceptions!_*
In the alternative, we find another location!

I will keep in mind the feedback details we received here so next year's
activities will results in responsive modifications.
Overall, I think the Organization Team did another good job.  Next year,
let us hit the next level --- "excellent job".
Thanks Annie, for your efforts with your frequent applications of glue
that keeps us together .
Hugs... JoAnn
