Hi Annie

OK...since there isn't much discussion... I'll throw out this idea to
get opinions....

I like the idea of the design on shirts.

How do you folks feel about having a logo pin? say a 1/2 inch to an 1
inch in size?

It'll involve a cost, and the logistics on how needs to be worked out,
but what I was wondering is there enough interest in doing something
like this, or is it too much work?

The pin can be placed anywhere like caps, hats, etc...

Just off the yahoo search, take a look at http://www.gifts2promote.com/

There are probably more businesses to choose from, but they are out
there... maybe locally in someones town that on this discussion/org
group listings.

just an idea...

I really like the "pin" idea. It is more "understated" yet makes a
statement. Also it has more flexability as to where it can be
wore/displayed. JoAnn

YA!

A DLV pin sounds cool, especially if it's purple.

Great idea! Make it flashy and glittery, with lots of rhinestones. I
like the versatility it offers, and the statement it would make.

Great. This is going to be announced in the next general mailing, but
I'll go ahead and mention it here as well.

I think there would be a demand for it.

We can discuss the specifics in ORG (I'll copy this over there) but the
determining factor is the willingness of somebody to volunteer to take
on the project.

This particular shop appears to have a minimum of 500 pins. That might
be a problem. Anyway, we can discuss the logistics on ORG, this forum
would be great to determine the demand from the feedback the idea gets.

Comments, gang?

Would they be able to take a design and make several different proudcts
out of it, like cafepress does? Like earrings, a broach, neacklace, or
labia ring?

Okay, so I'm just a little slow in getting in the discussion, but I love
the idea of a pin. I also understand it could be a pretty costly project
and wouldn't recommend anyone individual committing to pushing it through
if they don't have the backing of others to spread the cost and risk.
I'm sure in time the orginal investment could be recovered, but please be
careful. I'd be happy to help where I can, but since I do most things on
a shoestring, I can't promise much.

There is a web based company called Cafe Press that allows small to
large groups to create logo merchandise for no up front cost. They
produce the product when ordered. The group can set the price (Cafe
Press price + what the group want to make on the item) You can have tee
shirts made for under $9.00
