Thanks, gang:

I would like to thank everybody who organized and attended DLV 2004 for
doing their part to make DLV 2004 the largest and most successful DLV
ever! :)

Our unofficial headcount (still have to reconcile such things as sign-up
lists and unclaimed name badges) is 115 total, a definite new record and
right on the mark as far as what we expected. As has been the case for
many years, the entire group was never in the same place at the same
time.

Our stated goal of having no significant dress, restroom, or behavior
incidents appears to have been met! Big thanks to everybody for making
this goal a reality.

Headcount: 115 Incidents: 0 That's a score we can be proud of! :)

For those who have never attended DLV before, we have three "Call For"
things right after DLV ends.

First is the Call For Comments, and the floor is now open. See note
below.

Second is the one everybody loves, and that is the Call For Photographs,
which will happen very shortly. Expect a mailing on this sometime this
coming week.

The third one, which can be fun as well, is the Call For Volunteers,
which will most likely occur toward the end of May.

Call For Comments:

Thanks to those who have already sent in feedback and comments, those
will be posted in the Discussion Forum shortly.

We want your feedback and comments, both positive and negative. Although
a formal survey will be available shortly, the floor is now open for
just about anything you would like to say. Anything from a few words up
to a book-length manuscript will be accepted. (I know Densie plans to
submit a rather lengthy treatise, complete with an interview with Ginger
regarding her innermost feelings about Galiano [sic], for example.) :)

We'll be using the DLV 2004 Discussion Forum for this, it's on line at
the URL:

However, we will accept input using about any method you want. You can
mail your comments to dlv@geekbabe.com or just reply to this note. All
comments received will be posted unless something obvious such as "Do
not publish" or "confidential" is stated.

If you liked something in particular, tell the group about it. If you
didn't like something, say so too.

If something unusual or enlightening happened to you, let's hear about
it.

If you went out on your own and did something not on the schedule,
please share it with the others.
