Caesars just sent me an email of "promotional rates" for their
properties, including the Flamingo.B The offer worked out to about
$120/night, which is approaching double the rate Bev was able to obtain
for us. Just FYI, for those who may want to book the Flamingo.

I have tracking hotel rates as well and have seen the same trend throughout Vegas... rates are going to be higher that week. That makes our rates for Flamingo all that more enticing. In the past Harrah's has been the cheaper place to stay. But this year I have not found anything under $120 average for Harrahs during this timeframe. And now that the Linq area has built up the old IP/Quad is even higher yet.
So if anyone is interested in taking advantage of the lower rate deal at Flamingo you had better act fast. Half of our room block is gone as of the first of January and I expect the last have to be filled within the next week or two. If you are waiting to the end of January or early February to book you might have to look elsewhere.

Thanks to everyone who has booked a room at Flamingo under our special rate block. I haven't gotten the numbers yet for this week but as of last week we were almost full, especially mid-week. I am sure that we will be filled up by the time I get the numbers this week.
Thanks for the fast response and taking advantage of this great rate. I am sorry for those who waited and may not get in on our deal. I have been watching the rates in town and they are not dropping that week at all. And some places, like Casino Royale, have even gone higher.
Can't wait to see you in Las Vegas and especially at Flamingo. We are going to have so much fun!
