transgendered wedding

I am a t-girl from NYC and I am visiting Las Vegas 4/11/04 to 4/14/04
with my very supportive G.G. girlfriend. I would like to know if there
are any wedding chapels in the area that would allow me to be in girl
mode for the ceremony.

Jasmine,

One former DLV participant was married in a wonderful late Summer
ceremony at a Las Vegas wedding chapel. Unfortunately I was unable to
attend and having only seen the video don't remember which one. Maybe
she or someone who attended the ceremony will write in and let you know.

Unfortunately also, the marriage didn't last.

You can try the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel.

http://www.vivalasvegas.com

We hosted a wedding there last summer and had a great time. The staff
was very helpful, and it was a blast! They do have all kinds of
different packages you can choose from depending on your tastes. And of
course you can actually be legally married there if you choose or just
have a committment ceremony. I do not believe they will care what you
want to wear!

If you are interested, you can contact me off list for more details on
what we did at ms.samantha@mindspring.com

Good Luck!

I was also at that wedding ceremony and it was everything Samantha said it
was, perhaps more. Worth looking into if you'd like to do it.

And, while I'm here, Hi Samantha. :)

The wedding was fantastic! Viva Las Vegas Chapel was incredible. They
even provided a limo to and from the chapel. The gentelman who arranged
my wedding over the phone even came into the chapel to meet me in
person...he used to be a female impersonator in NYC! The walk through
the main lobby of the Luxor was great...everyone thought I was a real
bride. One woman even told her kids "look at the pretty bride." I have
some pics on my webpage that were taken in the room at the Luxor if
anyone is interested. P.S. I spent the first day there visiting the
nearby hotels...incident free...and during the day. (I was however
dressed very casual in blue jean capri pants and a t-shirt)

Here is a link to my webpage in progress...
