Yes and no.

What you see, and will always see, in the general mailings is only a few
detail items from the working master of the schedule. It's the "edited
for all audiences" version. :)

What I would suggest you use for reference is the final copy of the
schedule, the one that comes in the large final mailing, which has
times, street addresses, etc.

Just carry the schedule, and don't carry the driving directions and such
if you don't need them.

It's not that large, and if you need one with less detail you can edit
it before you print it. Or, if you let us know what fields you need, we
can easily make you a custom one. :) For example, if you want one with
just the WHAT, WHERE, and WHEN fields, it's easy to generate it and mail
it to you.

If you (or anybody else who holds a validated registration) needs an
advance copy of any of the LFM items, write, and in most cases we'll
let you have a copy of the in-progress working drafts. (As of this day,
hour, minute, second, most of these are not ready for prime time.) :)
. . . . .

>For example : Lunch or Dinner ?????? Is this on our own or is there
>a planned location?

Anything that appears on the summary schedule has a definite time and
definite place planned as of this time. Meals are always on your own for
$$$ :) but anything listed on the schedule will have anywhere from a
handful to a mob of other DLV people.

As far as meal times when nothing is planned, there aren't many. We have
a daily lunch/brunch each weekday, and some kind of a planned dinner
most evenings. Here are the current open meal timeslots:

The only day a noonish meal is not planned ... yet ... is Sunday. If
somebody wants to plan one, then there will be one.

There's no noon meal on the schedule for Saturday, but food will be
served at the SBS Garden Party.

On Tuesday evening, there will be a meal with the Night Of The Soiled
Doves side trip, but if I told you the details I would have to shoot
you, since it's a military secret. :) There's no meal planned (yet) for
those not going on the NSD side trip. If nobody plans one, I do suggest
people eat before they change into NSD garb, cuz the venue of the NSD
get-together that evening (LVL) does not have regular food service.

There's no evening meal planned for Thursday ... yet. That's a very full
evening. I might suggest a hot dog from the casino snack bar or a trip
to the Fatburger drive-thru. :)

Of course all of this is subject to change. Many of the activities are
now "solid" on the schedule, but there may still be additions and
changes.
. . . . .

>And is it possible to place the address with the event.

Yes, the final schedule and driving directions will have street
addresses and/or intersection landmarks for almost all venues. If you
(or any other validated attendee) need any of this in advance, write and
let us know.

Although I don't recommend the city bus for those who are relatively
new to public exposure, I would be interested in hearing how this has
worked for you.

No, you're not being a pain. If you or anybody needs any answers or
further details, let us know. You will receive them, in abundance. :)

>( I didn't even do SCC last year. yawn !!!!!! )

Well, if I had a choice of doing either SCC or DLV, I think you know
which one I would do. :)
