Last Call...Colorado Gold Rush 2004

Hiya one and all!

There are just under two more weeks before the Colorado Gold Rush 2004.
This will be the final email about the conference for this year.

Registrations:

If you have not registered as of yet, there is still plenty of room, but
you need to hurry. The meal counts go to the hotel next Friday (The
20th) and while I'll order a few extra meals, I'll also have tickets
for the exact number of meals I have ordered. Once those tickets are
gone, so are the meals! If you get your registration into me, I can
guarantee a meal. You can also register on-site at the hotel as well.
Prices are slightly higher on-site than they are before the conference,
but it is possible. We'll be able to accept cash, checks, Visa,
MasterCard and Discover at the hotel.

Hotel Rooms:

There are a few hotel rooms left as well, but they are going fast. Make
sure when you call to make your reservations with the hotel
(303-321-6666) that you tell them you are with the "Colorado Gold Rush
2004" so you can get the special room rate of $69.00 per night for 1 to
4 people. If you don't, they'll charge you the prevailing rate (whatever
that rate is).

Entertainment:

We are proud to announce that we'll be having the Sissy Girls with us
this year as our main entertainment after the awards show on Thursday,
then they'll be doing an abbreviated show on Friday after the wildly
popular fashion show and before the DJ takes over so you can dance the
night away. On Saturday, due to your overwhelming requests, we'll be
having last years band (From The Top) back to play hits from the '70's
and '80's until midnight, again, so you can dance the night away.

Keynotes:

Friday's keynote speaker is Dr. Becky Allison and Saturday's keynote
speaker will be Lynn Conway. We'll also be having Lacey Leigh giving a
speech on Saturday during lunch as well.

Vendors:

Our vendors this year will be companies like Shoe Express, Hana Designs,
Phyllis Fantasies, Glamour Boutique, the Book Garden, Call Susan
alterations, Sharon and Paula's Mary-Kay, Gentle Touch Laser, Arvada
Electrology, IFGE, Denae Doyle, the GIC, Miz Moe on the Plus Side,
Transformations, Relatively Wilde book store and Deb-Ann Thompson. Be
sure to ask your vendor's about "Drink Coupons". This is a thing we have
worked out with the hotel where for each set amount you purchase from a
vendor, they'll give you a drink coupon (If they wish to participate).
Those drink tickets will be good at the bar in the meal room ONLY and
will be good for anything that is not a premium liquor. Each vendor
will set their own limits on how they will give out the drink tickets.

Meals:

The exact meal selections information is on the Colorado Gold Rush
website in the registration section (http://www.cologoldrush.org and
click on "Register"). Thursday is the awards ceremony to give out
awards to pioneer's and those working in and for the gender community.
It is our chance to recognize them for the inroads they have made for
the community as a whole. Friday is a casual Italian atmosphere and
Saturday is the formal Mardi-Gras styled "Prom you never had" ball.
Bring your best gown or suit and dress to impress!
