Crystal,

I would add to Annie's comments. Bring comfortable shoes. Last year,
because of a mix up on my bp meds, my feet swelled! I could not get
those beautiful high heel pumps on! Fortunately, I had brought a couple
of pair that I could still wear. It did require some quick last minute
adjustments to my wardrobe choices! sigh!

When I got back home and told my personal care physician, he did change
my bp meds and told me not to wear my waist cincher so tight!

Are you going to fly to LV enfemme?

HUgs,
Tootsye

Comfortable shoes? I was beginning to think there wasn't such an
animal. I'll keep looking now that I have hope.

Thanks for the additional info Tootsye!!!

Great suggestion - pack comfortable shoes! The crazy thing is that I
keep planning outfits with specific shoes and keep trying to scale it
down. I mean really, how many pairs of shoes can I take with me?

Although I'm not on any meds at the moment, but anything can happen
between now and May!!! LOL

Will I be flying en-femme you ask? I would love to fly en-femme, but for
a couple of very good reasons, I will fly in boy mode. First, I'm flying
out of New York. These damned Homeland Security nazis are just
relentless at the airports here. To safeguard against any
Ashcroft/Ridge-related catastrophes, I am keeping all of my wigs,
make-up and hair supplies in my carry-ons in fear that they might
rummage through my checked things and disrupt my very well organized way
in which I pack my make-up and wigs. I'm sure they're going to think I
have 'Eight heads in a duffle bag' ...

Just call me crazy, but If I fly to Vegas for Diva, I am flying enfemme!
I have flown since 9/11 and I had no problem! I checked with the head of
the airport security and he said they were only looking for weapons.

Since I had none, I had no problems. I didn't even get picked for a
special search! If they want to search my bags, let them. I sanitize my
purse to make sure there is nothing in that to cause a problem and that
is all I do. I am not advocating anyone else flying, I am just telling
you what I do. I will not live in fear or intimidation!

Hugs, Tootsye

Tootsye, you are marvelous.

Just make sure you don't forget to pack you micro mini, strappy top,
fishnets, and 6" platforms for NSD! :)

I find the easiest way around this is to ship ahead via UPS anything
that you don't want the airport goons poking through.

I'm glad to hear that! Most people let their fears control their lives.
I'm always happy to meet someone who doesn't.
