Hi Girls,

I was wondering if I could have a few suggestions? My partner and I are
going to have a Commitment Ceremoney in February of 2005 here in Hawaii.

I won't have a chance to wear my wedding dress at that time so I was
wondering if DLV would be a time to have a day at a beauty shop and a
wedding reception with all of you dressed in your beautiful gowns?

What do you think? Would you girls like to attend an wedding reception?
It's just an idea so I would love your thoughts. Aloha nui loa.

Wedding reception?

Is the family of the bride paying?

Catered? Filet Mignon with Cornish Game Carrots? Open bar?

Or will it be dry, with those green toothpaste mints and warm punch? :)

Band? DJ? Gonna do a Dollar Dance? Chicken dance? {ducking and running} :)

How about a bachelorette party! :)

Seriously, I'm always up for a party! :)

What were you thinking of, working it into the schedule, having it in
conjunction with something else, or having it off outside the schedule
for those who wanna do it?

Unfortunately, I don't own any gowns, but I am a minister and I can do
an Affirmation of Love service in Vegas, if you're interested.

Great Idea. I am for it.

Several months ago we had a similar event here in Las Vegas. It was
terrific. After the ceremony which was held at the Viva Las Vegas
Wedding chapel we went to Tramps for the reception dinner and show.
Individual checks of course.

There was also a bridal shower the night before at a local restaurant.

Now this is an interesting idea. IMO, is this something we could tie in
with the show/limo tour on Thursday?

I remember when I suggested a few photo ops, one of which was a wedding
scene, I was braided on the wheel for it.

Maybe the wedding idea was the last offensive? ;)

Hi all,

Please oh please do not mix something as wonderful as a wedding party and the
wonderful lemo ride..... the 2 both need their own dedicated time.

Thanks, LeeAnna

I think it would work, if we had the wedding party at the Del-Mar.

Hi all,

Ok, Ok.... The Del Mar makes it a VERY special event... But I think she
wants it to last a bit longer than the 15 minute max for room rentals
there....giggle. Second thought, the nuns are already there so it will
be a bit more religious... :+)

I do really think, all kidding aside, that this is a real time for her
to get her hair done, nails, look devastatingly beautiful, and have a
few dozen "Brides Maids" and Friends to treat her like the bride she is
going to be. Lets not sell her short on the fact someone wants to
squeeze her in between the Limo Ride and Closing Time at the Las Vegas
Club... it just isn't fare. This is a real thing and not just a Side
Show.

Thanks, LeeAnna

This could be a new fun event for Diva Las Vegas. Let's get some input
on how to make this a success. JoAnn
