Hi all,

I will never be as organized as Tina and some of the other sisters, so I
will never give a cogent review of my view of the week! All I can say is
that I had a very good time!

I did have a couple of negatives that I wanted to mention. I was ticked
when we were asked not to use the women's restroom near the restaurant
at the golf course. The wind was not pleasant for golf, but no one can
do anything about that.

The major thing happened when I went to check out of the San Remo. When
we checked in on Monday, a very nice young woman checked us in. Since
Jamie and I were shareing, we asked if we could get a split bill when we
checked out. She assured us that we could.

When we went to check out early on Monday morning, William was on the
desk. We asked for a split bill, and it seemed to annoy him! He did
prepare it, however, and Jamie presented her credit card and DL for
identification which William had asked for. Jamie signed and was
finished.

I presented my Tootsye credit card and my male DL. William examined them
and then in a very rude manner said he could not take the card because
the ID did not match the name on the card! I had showed him my Tri ess
card that has both my male picture and femme picture on it. He said that
it was not a official ID and he could not use it. He reminded me that LV
is the worlds capital of credit card fraud. I found this insulting, as
if I were being accused of being part of it.He then demanded to see my
eyes, as he said he could make identification that way! I offered to
take off my wig to help the identification, which I did. I then took
back the Tootsye credit card and offered my maile credit card.

Jamie asked to see a manager, but this was never addressed.

Somewhere in the discussion, William had surreptiously alerted Security
and a big Bubba Security person had appeared. He never said anything,
but I suspect that he was there for intimidation.

About this time, the young lady that had checked us in the previous
Monday came in and greeted us warmly. From that time on things changed
dramatically. William accepted my male credit card and I signed and
departed.

I refuse to let the incident cast a cloud on what was a beautiful
memorable week!

So many things were just so much fun! The shows were great; buffets with
or without Tina were good. I ate breakfast there, so I found the food
good. The golf was not so much fun because of the wind, but not anyones
fault. The garden party, limo tour and tea were all outstanding. I found
plenty of time to visit with as many sisters as I could.

Dinner at Sashas was good, but I could not even begin to eat it all and
the same for Carluccios and Milanos.

I enjoyed helping Monique and Jenna with the registration and I reserve
that job again for next year. It is a great way to get to meet more of
the sisters.

I still can't believe that I let Cindy,Texas and Monique talk me into
doing Kareoke at Goodtimes! Somehow, the word leaked out, and in some
places I have been called Tootsyesue!

I was so proud of Paula and Bev. I relish being with girls their first
time out. I do so admire their courage. I would include Kate in that
group, although she came out last year!

Jamie and I continued the adventure by driving back to Arkansas. In
Tucumcari NM, we went to a family restaurant for dinner and the next
morning, joined about 20 guests of the motel for a continental
breakfast. Now that is mainstream!

I took in excess of 200 pictures and am in the process of putting them
on a compact disk. As soon as it is finished, I will put it in snail
mail, but it will be a few days yet.

I will begin counting down the days to Diva 2004
