I will be at the Free Zone from half past four pm on Sunday the 16th of
April. I will stay until five-thirty or six. Those who are able or
interested, and who didn't make other arrangements at the morning
activities, please feel free to join me and whoever at that time.

Sounds like some are going to dinner together not to far away? oops,
where did I lose that thread?

Well, by then we should all know what dinner plans have been made and
can catchup on all that and make further arrangements at the FreeZone.

Unless my plane is late {knocking on wood, it's Untied this time} I'll
plan to be at the Freezone between 5 and 6 or so. If you need to run,
I can relieve the watch. :) :)

Somebody said Hard Rock a while back, but there are literally a million
places to eat in that neighborhood within walking distance.

One of my faves is just a little hole in the wall (or hole in the mall
in this case), Milano's, right across from the Freezone. I always stop
there at least once when I'm in town. (I like to tease them by saying
I'm bringing in a crowd of about 30 in a few minutes.) :) :) :)

Rather than describing myself (if anybody really cares, I will) :) I
will be wearing <shamelessplug> a DLV Logo Shirt, which is available
at http://www.geekbabe.com/dlv/logoshop.html, and yes, there's still
time to get one before DLV! </shamelessplug>

As Mardi said, this is a very good way to discreetly announce yourself
as a DLV attendee.

There are also all kinds of other DLV logo items available.

where ya's all still be at freezone at around 8pm? or if you are going
someplace to eat where will you be? I have to work that day until 6pm
but I got the rest of the week off for DLV.. I did not know that some of
you were going to meet the night before and didn't think to ask for the
sunday off from work as well

yeah I remember you Annie hehe, I only know you and Michelle outside of
the Tri-Ess chapter i'm a part of though so I won't recognize any of the
other girls.. and i have a new wig since you last saw me.. and no its
not Purple of Burgundy lol! I have a nice black bobbed style or a long
brunette style I may decide to wear.. so I'll plan on showing at
Freezone around 8pm I hope people are there :)

I've stayed at the Sahara countless times over the past several years,
both on business and pleasure. I've never had trouble checking in early,
and I once checked in on a Sunday at about 9:30am.

Last trip there the desk guy said "If you'll take a room on 5, I can get
you in now, if you want something higher you'll have to come back in a
few hours ..." I took the room on 5. :)
