Welcome to those who just joined the list. We hope to see you in person
this October! If you have any questions or concerns, please ask. Just
reply to this mailing.

This mailing gives the latest updates for Diva Las Vegas 2025, which
runs from Monday, October 13 through Thursday, October 16 in Las Vegas,
Nevada, USA.

We hope you will be able to join us for our 27th. annual event!

Plans for DLV 25 are moving along nicely and our schedule is filling out
nicely. Thanks to our volunteers who have made this happen!

As soon as we resolve just a few unknowns, we will be including a
summary of the working schedule in these mailings.

Thanks to all who reported the closing of the Las Vegas Bahama Breeze
restaurant which we have used for large and small activities since the
mid 20-oughts.

Facility closures are nothing new to DLV, and they occur quite
frequently in Las Vegas. We've had to work around these many times
throughout our history. We are fortunate that this occurred months
before our event, and not weeks or days before, as has happened in the
past.

Registration is open:

Registration for Diva Las Vegas 2025 is now open! Most of you who have
attended in recent years have been sent an express re-registration email
which includes a personalized link for minimum-click re-registration
with little formality.

If you have attended recently and did not receive this, please be
assured that it is not a snub. This can happen for several reasons. If
this is the case, please follow the registration link below and follow
the prompts to register as a returning attendee.

New attendees can register at the link below, and follow the prompts to
register as a new attendee.

Shortly after you register, you will receive a confirming email. If you

Schedule and event news:

As noted above, we had to select a new venue for the opening activities
of Monday evening. The opening festivities will now happen at Virgil's
BBQ, in the Linq Mall.

This is a very easy drive, or a quite do-able walk, from the Tuscany
Hotel.

We have used Virgil's for many large and small activities for several
years. They are reasonably-priced, have a wide variety of menu
selections, and have always been welcoming to our group.

We are in the process of selecting a venue for our closing festivities
on Thursday evening. We have a few options and will be making a
selection shortly. Details will be announced when they are available.

On Tuesday, we begin with Monster Mini Golf, followed by the Art Tour
in the afternoon, and a multi-track evening with various Happy Hour,
dining, and activity options.

On Wednesday we will feature pickleball in the morning, which has been
quite the hit in recent years, and a trip to the Showgirl Museum in
the afternoon.

Wednesday evening will be centered around the 60s Retro Rock Revolution,
at the Phoenix Lounge. 60s-theme dress/costumes are optional but
encouraged. Food (and beverages, of course) will be available.

Thursday will begin with a trip to the Pinball Hall Of Fame.

Stay tuned for details on the evening's closing festivities.

Thursday evening will also feature our annual Limousine Tour.

Discount hotel rates - NO RESORT FEE!:

For Diva Las Vegas, you may stay anywhere you wish. We have no
requirements for staying in any particular hotel.

We do make hotel suggestions, for those who wish to use a hotel which
has been shown to be welcoming to our group, is reasonably-priced, is
centrally-located, and will have other DLV attendees.

Our suggested hotel for DLV 2025 is the Tuscany, which is in the Center
Strip area of Las Vegas.

discount rates.

Below are the DLV rates for the Tuscany. These have been recently
verified as the lowest actually-available rates for the center Strip
area for the DLV dates.

When comparing hotel rates, please compare the "Total cost of ownership",
including various fees. The "Resort Fee" which most Las Vegas hotels
impose usually adds $25 to $50 per day to the bottom-line price.

Also please note that individuals who have a gaming history at the
Tuscany (or most other Las Vegas casino-hotels) can get "casino rates"
which are often lower than any published rates. If this applies to you,
please contact the appropriate Players' Club for information.

Included now, for those who wish to arrive early and/or leave later, are
the rates for the two "bookend" dates prior to and after DLV 25.
