Hey girls, I've been thinking about DLV (is it too soon?) and was
wondering if anybody could describe where you go on the limo ride. I'm
trying to decide what to wear depending on where we spend the most
time.

Thanks and huggs, Jamie from Cleveland

Hi Jamie,

We generally make a tour of he Strip Casinos. It varies a little each
time, but Caesars, Treasure Island are among the favorites. I have
found it difficult, getting in and out of the Limo with a long tight
dress. Something very dressy that you can "duck-walk" or crawl on you
knees with works well. If you have enough Champagne you can just slide
out!! ;))

Take a look at the photos from the past DLVs. That will give you some
ideas.

Jamie R, from Arkansas.

See you in April.

Our first posting for 2008, congratulations! :)

>I've been thinking about DLV (is it too soon?)

No, never too soon. This is about the time people start making
their plans!

>wondering if anybody could describe where you go on the limo ride.

The Limo Tour for DLV 2008 hasn't been planned as far as details
are concerned. It's tentatively scheduled for Thursday evening of
DLV week, subject to change of course.

In the past we've "done the Strip", stopping at various hotels
along the route. See the web site for some of the trips in the
past.

Sometimes we'll make a stop downtown. Last year we did kind of
a walk-through of part of the Fremont Street Experience.

A couple years we did a photo-op at a very trashy motel which is
no longer there! :)

The Limo Tour is one of the big dress-up things. Most dress up
(nice casual, dressy, formal, glitzy) for the Limo Tour.

The web site gives all kinds of examples of what's being worn
to our various activities.

Ask if you want any specific outfit suggestions for any of the
things.

Jamie:

It is NEVER too soon to think about DLV! (Some of us think about it
all the time!)

The Limo tour stops at a number of different hotels and casinos;
last year it was Fremont Street, the Wynn, Caesar's and the
Bellagio. These are usually brief stops of about 15 - 20 minutes.
A lot of us like to glam up for the tour, as would befit Hollywood
royalty. (Although the Lindsay Lohan no-panties look is definitely
frowned upon.)

Hope you can attend and join in the fun.

Mary Beth
