DLV dates for 2008

For gun enthusiests...

If anyone is interested... there are two gun shows to hit LV several
time a year.

The Claude Hall's Las Vegas Gun Show, which in the past has twice
occured during DLV, and is always at Cashman Field. I can't find their
2008 sch on the web.

The other one, The Antique Arms, International Sporting Arms and
(something) has occured at least 4 times during DLV, and its always
been in the Riviera Hotel.

If we select the dates of April 21 to 26, then the Antique Arms Show is
tentatively schedued for April 25-27 2008. For those looking for
something for their collection, this show has alot vendors...but be
ready to spend money if you find something you want.

Sometimes both shows are in LV at the same weekend, but I haven't been
able to find any dates for the LV Gun Show.

Now that is worth a thought. I'm an avid collector. Maybe this will
finally put me over the edge of whether to attend DLV or not.

Looking back at the schedule for DLV 2004, I think we can claim to
be the first major TG event which ever had an organized side trip
to a gun show.

If there's a demand for it, might as well do it for 2008. Think
outside the box! :)

I know the people who I believe do the paperwork for the Claude Hall Gun
Show. i haven't seen them in a while. I'll have to ask them about that.

Since I'm on disability, I shouldn't have any trouble finding the time
to get there.

If it fits the schedule, I'll offer to coordinate the gun show (slurp),
unless one of us is a licensed dealer and wants to do it.

I could use some 75s for my AK, some 15s or 18s for my 9mm P95, some
7-round .357 speedloaders for my Taurus Titanium, 6.5 Jap for my Arisaka
M34, and a trash can to drop my Llama .45 into, if it doesn't explode on
the range first. A CZ52 would be nice too, to pi$$ off the cop$. We
need to get this stuff before the gubby passes another gun ban. That
is, of course, if someone on disability can afford it.
