Studio 54 entrance process

Three of us went to Studio 54 after NSD. We were escorted through the
short line and turnstyle. It appeared as though the list of Front of
Line people was in front of the cashier.

She said that even with our DLV badges, we still needed to pay $10. Did
others run into this as well?

I'd like to see this repeated next year....

Here's what I know.

I was on the way in and I happened to run into Mindy in the hotel
lobby and she told me that it would be $10. I really didn't have that
much of a need to pay to listen to loud house music, so I just went
back to my hotel and played the machines for a while.

Apparently up until just recently, ladies were free. This was recently
changed so only LOCAL ladies were free.

Yes, I would like to see it repeated too. (It would be even better if
we could get free cover as well.) :)
