Activity Highlight - Golf:

This week we feature one of DLV's most popular activities, Golf!

(This and other golf details will be posted to the DLV Golf List
shortly. See notes about the DLVGOLF list below.)

The annual Diva Las Vegas Invitational is believed to be the world's
first regularly-scheduled TG golf match! This has been a very popular
ongoing activity since DLV 2000.

(I daresay that some of our people consider DLV to be a golf match
with a few other activities thrown in.) :)

This year's Diva Las Vegas Invitational will be held Thursday, April
20 at 9:00am and YOU are invited to participate.

You don't have to be an expert. Players of all skill levels are equally
welcome. The purpose is to have fun and to enjoy the company of others.

This will be held at the Desert Rose Golf Club, one of the area's
premier golf establishments.

You are welcome to play golf in either boymode or girlmode. See dress
notes below. (This is a classy course, this is their dress code, not
ours. See below.)

As Mindy, our Tournament Director writes:

As the price of everything else keeps going up we go down this year!

The price per player this year is $42 per person which includes greens
fees, cart, range balls and lunch discount tickets.

Payment to made direct to desert rose golf course, payment can be made
by phone at 702-431-4653 or fax 702-431-7910. Payment needs to be made
by 5pm PST april 12th unless arrangements are made with me. (Mindy)

When you phone, let them know it is for the Diva Las Vegas tournament
and give both male and fem 1st name. requests for pairings should be
sent to me through the diva mail system by the deadline. We have
reserved 24 spots but we can adjust up or down as the deadline
approaches. we must have a firm count in by the 13th.

To sign up for Golf, check the appropriate box at Activity Sign-up
Time, which begins on or about March 26. This will get you on the list
of players that Mindy will get, but your actual confirmation will be
payment to the course as outlined above.

Dress:

As Mindy continues:

Girlmode is preferred but not required, but you will be at a prize
disadvantage playing in guy mode and we may make you play from the "way
back tees".

Course already knows about us and is more than welcoming for us.

Required attire for fem is no cutoffs, no t-shirts, but tank tops or
sleeveless golf shirts are ok. Plain fem tops with no art is ok. Shorts
or skorts should be of modest length (they define that as no cheeks
showing).

For those who are playing and those who are interested in playing, we
have a special Golf Mailing List, on which extra details will be posted,
specific questions can be asked and answered, and special requests can
be made. Those who sign up for golf on the web will be automatically
subcribed to this list, and the list is open to all who are interested.
