Activity highlight -- Eating Out Night and Mainstream-Alternative Night:

Between now and DLV, each (most) weeks we will feature one of our
activities in detail.

This week we feature our Wednesday evening Eating Out Night and
Mainstream-Alternative Night.

This will be a two-part evening, actually three in some cases, and there
will be some variation on the theme.

The first big part is dinner, in smaller groups, at any of several
locations. Each location will have a volunteer host or hostess. There
will be a Happy Hour associated with most of these.

You may choose from a variety of restaurants (and other facilities) for
Eating Out Night Dinner. There will be at least one very casual and
inexpensive option, and at least one very "safe" option. All are known
to be good. :)

After dinner, a number of activities will be available. Some of these
are very "Mainstream", meaning that the DLV people will be attending
just as members of the general public will be, and others are noted
"Alternative" meaning they are of special interest to some of those in
our community and/or in more secluded venues.

As of this date (schedule is still under development, look for others
as well), we have the following choices for evening activities:

* Alternative Bar Crawl. Join us for an evening of barhopping and
socializing as we check out a number of LV's well known and not so
well known bars and clubs.

* George Wallace Show. An over-the-top comedian who sometimes gets
up close and personal with his audience. See notes in this week's
mailing if you want to get very close to the action.

* "Little Girl" get-together. An evening of dress-up, lingerie show-off,
modeling, girl talk, refreshments, etc. in a private suite. This option
will include dinner (ordered in) and will begin at what otherwise would
be happy hour time.

* Dragapella. This is a new show which just opened at the Las Vegas
Hilton, featuring the Kinsey Sicks. Although this is in a very
"Mainstream" venue, we're regarding this as a very good outing for
beginners as well.
. . . . .

Some of these options will be no-sign-up-just-show-up, some will be
sign-up requested so we can get an approximate headcount, and some will
require an advance sign-up and a commitment to attend. One option will
reqiire sign-up in person at DLV. See notes on dining and after-dinner
activity options at activity sign-up time.

Dress: This will vary from activity to activity, and one of the planned
activities does have specific dress requirements. Unless otherwise
specified, anything from non-grungy casual to moderately dressy, either
boymode or girlmode, will be fine.

A list of eating out options and after-dinner options, along with more
specific dress suggestions for each, will appear in the large final
mailing that is sent to registered attendees in April.
