Dear Valerie,

I then clearly misinterperted your meaning or what it was you were
trying to say. I took your message to say that you didn't think that any
venue, or congergration of trans women would be acceptable because it
would out people; therefore I aplolgize for my misunderstanding, and if
my response was too long, off the mark, or did not explain why I
offered, then I failed to make myself clear. I, in no way, offerred to
film an interview with anyone to "out" them. Many Transgenders have been
on my show to tell their storie. It is somewhat therapeutic for them,
and it helps other transgenders out their that have no one to talk to,
or listen too. There are many in rurals areas that at this moment are
sitting there thinking that they are aliens and the only people on the
planet who feel what we feel. It gives others in our community a chance
to reach out to those who have no one to talk to. I certainly had no
intention to sloight you, or admonish you in any way. The choice to
filmed is up to any individual, and in any of the venues for Pinkfeat, I
would have an authorization form signed so that htere is proof of
willingness to participate. As far as equipment, all I need is a tripod,
camcorder and microphone, which is easily carried in a camera bag, so
there is absolutely no array of equipment. I apologize for any
misunderstanding I may have caused. I have been doing this for 5 years
now, and have apretty good idea what I am doing. Some may want a copy of
what I shoot for the ambiance of the venue. If you have any questions,
feel free to reach me.

Jackie

Hi Debbie,

Thank you for your note. Absolutely. I would love to chat with you, any time.

My email: mckethinc@aol.com
my phone is 630-915-0182

I most certainly look forward to feedback, questions, etc. That is why I
do my shows. We can't learn without questions, and we can't get know
each other without conversation. My intentions with any of my shows is
to unite our community, bring about conversation, rhetoric, not just for
our own community, but for the general public to learn more about what
transgender life is all about. The difficulties we face, and the self
love and acceptance that comes wih being able to be who we really are.
We are a multi facted community, as well individuals. We gain strength
through each other, the community, the allies and friends, which can be
built upon.

Looking forward to heraing from you,

Jackie
