Visual Notes for getting to our Welcome and Farewell Celebrations


Please note that both the Welcome Celebration and Farewell Celebration are open to all registered DLV attendees. It is the associated dinner for which the sign-up was requested. You are welcome to attend and dine with the group even though you did not officially sign up for the associated dining activity.

Welcome and Celebration

Our Welcome Celebration on Monday, the New Attendee Orientation, as well as other related activities will be held at the Bahama Breeze restaurant at the intersection of Paradise Road and Flamingo Road.

If you will be driving, please use the map below which shows the location of the Bahama Breeze (noted by the marker "T") and the route from Flamingo Road (follow the blue dots) to the Bahama Breeze parking area.

When you enter the Bahama Breeze, turn to the left and walk through the door to the westmost seating area in the restaurant. The group should be obvious to you at that point.

If you have any difficulty finding the location, or finding the group within the building, please phone one of our Contact People and we will get you on the right track.

Farewell Celebration

Our Farewell Celebration and associated activities will be held at Carmine's Restaurant, which is located in the Forum Shops in Caesars Palace, which is located northwest of the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard (Strip) and Flamingo Road.

The Caesars Palace complex is very large, with the Forum Shops located toward the north end of the property.

If you will be walking, follow signs to the Forum Shops and use the map in the fourth image below to locate Carmine's. If you are taking a taxi, please tell the driver to drop you off at the Forum Shops and not at the main Caesars Palace casino or hotel.

If you will be driving, it is strongly suggested that you use the Forum Shops Valet Parking as that is very convenient to Carmine's, and use the directions below to locate the valet park entrance and the path to Carmine's within the complex.


The first image above shows the general area, with the Forum Shops Valet Parking indicated by the "R" marker.

If coming from the south, the path is indicated by the green dots. If coming from the north, the path is indicated with the blue dots.

The second image shows an expanded aerial view of the immediate area of the Forum Shops Valet Parking. Again, the path taken if coming from the south is shown with the green dots and the path taken if coming from the north is snown with the blue dots.

The third image shows the Forum Shops Valet Parking entrance dead center in the image.

The fourth image shows the most convenient path from the Forum Shops Valet Park to Carmine's. Simply enter the complex on the street level, take the escalator one floor up to the main level, and follow the blue dots to Carmine's.

If you have any difficulty finding the location, finding Carmine's within the complex, or finding the group within the restaurant, please phone one of our Contact People and we will get you on the right track. Likewise, if you are unsure or uneasy walking through the complex to Carmine's, phone one of our contact people and we will have somebody meet you at the Valet Park (or casino entrance, or anywhere on the property) and escort you to Carmine's.
