DLV is not as "stuffy" as the latest postings may have made it sound.
It really comes down to basic common sense.

For example, when having lunch or High Tea at the Four Seasons, do you
really want someone at the table wearing a little girl outfit? It did
happen.

The guidelines of COP and BDR applies primarily to mainstream
activities. And, the schedule shows what type of venue a specific
activiy is at. MS = mainstream, SV - safe venue, etc.

Of all of the activities on the schedule, Night of the Soiled Doves is
probably the one where anything goes. Not only are you allowed to wear
an outlandish outfit, it is actually encouraged. The only problem one
might encounter is getting in and out of the hotel, so a cover-up might
be appropriate. Again, just common sense. This might also apply to
other SV activities, such as the Alternative Bar Crawl.

One hint, when the sign-up comes out, there will be a limit to the
number of doves that can go to NSD. It's limited by the number of
people that can fit into the bar and parlor at the Ranch.
