Last year we tried moving our group luncheon around rather than
eating at the Sahara most of the week. Our Hilton experience was
less than successful and we decided not to go back. There has been
a long standing tradition of lunch at the Bellagio buffet on Friday,
but this year's Wednesday morning art show at the Bellagio makes it
better to have lunch there following.
As it now stands we have lunch scheduled for the Sahara on Monday and
Tuesday,the Bellagio on Wednesday, and Harrah's on Thursday. Where do
we go on Friday? Unless there is good support for going to the Bellagio
again on Friday or elsewhere, we'll be back at the Sahara. The Sahara
Buffet offers good value for the cost, is affordable, easy to find, and
easily accessible by the many who stay there and others by public
transportation and automobile, and well attended when there are no
conflicts. Other casino buffets are much more expensive, and some (like
the Rio, expensive, but really good) would be difficult to get to for
those without a car.
How about it ladies and gentlemen, where do you want to have our group
luncheon on Friday, the Sahara or elsewhere?
