There are two possible complications of using public parks for DLV
activities. IANAL, and I don't know if they would apply to Floyd Lamb
or not, but they do apply to local city parks.
First, the perpetual rumor of an "Awful Restroom Law" in Las Vegas
appears to have come from a Clark County ordinance which prohibits males
from using or loitering in the vicinity of womens restrooms in public
parks. Since Floyd Lamb is in Clark County, this probably applies, but
as I said, IANAL.
Second, and I think this only applies to city (county?) parks, is that
groups of over a certain number (20? 25? something like that) need a
permit.
We've decided to not do picnics and such in the past for these reasons.
