We've had people stay at the IP each and every year since the start of
DLV with no known incidents.

If you will be parking or getting dropped off in the rear, you don't
even have to pass thru the main part of the casino to get to the rear
bank of hotel elevators. They are right between the shops and the casino
entrance. There's even a "secret" tower elevator which is more discreet
and handy to use during busy times. Finding this will be an exercise
for the student. :)

If you're really shy about the casino, the IP has (still has, I think)
some "garden" (motel style) rooms in back. These aren't nearly as nice
as the tower rooms but you can get to them directly thru the parking
garage without going inside the main building.

It's a "denim" crowd at the Las Vegas MCC, or so they say (the
ubiquitous "they"). However, not to show my real age, but I think of
the terms "fashionably" and "torn" as being mutually exclusive. :)

They probably won't say anything to you. However, and I don't know your
age, but you should probably be sure that the "fashionably torn" look is
indeed age-appropriate for you. One far too common faux paus in our
community is trying to get away with outfits that are one generation
removed. I would suggest you consider the "30/130" rule here. :)
