I guess food is an eye of the beholder kind of thing, but last spring I
found the Sahara coffee shop late night service to be slow, indifferent,
and with at least one waiter who insisted on referring to me as "sir."
The veggie burger from previous years was gone and there was nothing
provided on the menu for vegetarians trying to eliminate or greatly
reduce fats from their diets. I was told all of this was due to new
management and gathered that not all of the staff was happy with the
changes.
The Sahara buffet still had a great variety of fresh salad items perfect
for my needs unlike other Las Vegas buffets which seemed to be
competing to see which could offer the most complete Atkins Diet
approved fare.
