But seriously, I don't know if this will happen or not, since the number
of definite and probably responses is close to the minimum of what the
printers want. Many of them have a minimum per size, which is a pain.
A local art house here will do them for a minimum of about 30, IIRC,
mixed sizes, 2-color silkscreen for $15.
Many places will do the same thing for around $12 with a 50 minimum per
size, which is probably not within striking distance for us.
What I REALLY would like, but it would be more expensive, is to have
them done on one of those X-Y embroidery machines. Those can be quite
colorful and last longer than those done with silkscreen. I know of one
place here that does these, and they charge by the number of stitches.
My guess would be around $20 each in small quantities for something
like the "Jellomold" logo.
Now that I think of it, I remember a booth up toward the front of the
Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet where they were making t-shirts with one of
those X-Y machines. Like an idiot I didn't think of asking them about
their pricing. Something like that might be an option for those who want
them next year, as I could give them the original artwork either in
hardcopy form or on disk.
