Hi,
I think the nature of DLV changed this year. While we continued to go to
the traditional "low class" bars, I think we also did a lot more stuff
that didn't involve them. I think this is what makes the them look so
bad in comparison.
As I have said I think we should raise the sights a bit and look at
better quality establishments, such as casino bars. Not for everything
but for more of the activities that just involve socialising.
An impression I gained was that lots of groups simply went to the casino
bars anyway. There were numerous comments of the kind "...we went off to
Tropicana and sat in the bar...", " we didn't get to Flex but went to
Bellagio...", etc, etc
There also seems to be a trend about the bars, in particular LVL but
generally with the others coming through in the recent reviews and
comments.
I don't wish to make this a hobby horse for the year but I think the
neighbourhood / gay bars as venues needs to be reduced for next year.
