Jahna Steele, emcee of the topless "Crazy Girls" revue in the late
1980s, has big plans.
Her-r-r-r-r-re's Jahn-n-n-a! Jahna Steele, a Las Vegas transgender
legend who started out in Texas as John Reis Steele, is back in town,
planning a comeback.
"My foot's back in the door," said Steele, the warm-up host at "An
Evening at La Cage" at the Riviera. In the late 1980s, Steele's secret
was so well-kept that she was voted Las Vegas' sexiest showgirl during
her five years as emcee of the topless "Crazy Girls" revue. Word has it
several big names in Hollywood who took an interest were stunned to
learn Jahna was really a Johnny.
