According to federal law, you may purchase long guns from a FFL in
another state and take them with you. Handguns must be transferred
between FFLs. No guns are allowed to be purchased between individuals
from out of state.
Nevada laws may be different, as may be an individual's adherence to the
above, but I would suggest dotting the I's and crossing the T's if
you're taking a gun back on a plane. And don't forget that you have
to declare them, and they have to be in checked baggage.
