> So then, what's the rule for bathrooms then? Thanks.
Well I think the first rule is that if you need to go...YOU NEED TO GO!
There is a list of recommended GOOD PRACTICES regarding restrooms in the
Behaviour and rest room policy documents we have prepared. Use of restrooms
of either gender while dressed as women can be a high risk affair. Obviously
going to the men's room may result in some interesting situations!
To summarise a complex area of behaviour:
- Use the bathroom appropriate to your mode of dress...ie if dressed as
woman then use the ladies
- DO NOT go in groups!
- Behave like a woman (sit to pee don't stand!)
- Go in, do your business, get out. Don't loiter!
- Try not to talk or other wise behave in way that will attract attention to
you as male in women's clothes!
- Avoid restrooms with young women present. They seem to pick up on Tgers
more quickly than older women
- Be confident but if you're not then maybe you'd be better off holding it
and going to a hotel room (your own for example!)
- Avoid the problem by going before you go out and drink moderately where
you can
For some venues, there will be specifically listed rest room conditions
and for some we will have "free" use within normal social bounds. These
will be defined within the LFM that Annie produces for all attendees in
late April.
And honestly.... The real issue is that if you pass well, then its less
of an issue than if you're a "man in a dress". Admittedly there are a
lot of women out there could be classed in the latter category that
probably draw attention to themselves and they're REAL FEMALES!
If you have any specific questions, after ready the policy which is
ONLINE somewhere, isn't it ANNIE!!!!, one or more of us will be happy to
flush more water on the subject!
Hugs
Michelle
